How can I become a member?

To become a full-fledged member, a prospect must be introduced to the club by a sponsor (a member in good standing who has been in the club for at least one year). A prospect must attend two general meetings and operate a motorcycle on at least one group ride with her sponsor present. If she is felt to be a safe rider by those who ride with her, she will be welcomed into the club at the general meeting she attends after one year as a prospect. Check out our Prospect Handbook for more information.  To prospect email prospect@movingviolationsmc.com

I'm not sure I want to join, can I still ride with the club?

Women who are uncertain about joining the club are invited to attend club rides as guests, paying a guest fee of $5.00 over the regular cost for members and prospects.

Do I have to own a Harley?

Size or style of bike does not affect membership, nor do ownership or riding status. Our members have bikes that range from BMW to Honda to Triumph.  One must be a woman, 18 or older, and a safe motorcycle operator. We invite guests to join us on a club ride, to come to our annual party, or to attend one of our general meetings.

What are all those hand signs you use?

Don't worry, when we ride in a group we use hand signals to help everyone know what to do.  You'll learn all about the hand signals as you ride with us.  But you can check some of them out here.
